The Family Ministries Leadership Certification Program 2.0 offers a transformative 50-hour training designed to cultivate a new generation of family life educators around the world. This comprehensive program responds to the urgent need for skilled facilitators who can address the pressing issues facing families today. With marriage rates declining globally and issues such as out-of-wedlock births, high divorce rates, and alternative living arrangements on the rise, this leadership training aims to strengthen the family unit, which remains the cornerstone of societal health and well-being.
Structured into 10 modules, the program includes 5 hours of content per module—3 hours of lectures and 2 hours of independent learning. Participants will progress through two levels of training: Level 1 (Modules 1-5) and Level 2 (Modules 6-10).
Upon successful completion of both levels, participants will receive certificates from the General Conference’s Adventist Family Ministries. Participants who complete the course curriculum requirements for Level 1 and Level 2 will have the opportunity to earn a Family Ministries Leadership Certificate with 3.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) from Andrews University. This certification recognizes their readiness to contribute effectively to family life education. This program represents a vital step toward addressing family challenges and fostering healthier, more resilient families across the globe.
